But as for the black presence in Damnation Alley: Paul Winfield has always existed and will always exist, ha ha!Burlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15471864627412228340noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8492795376174847769.post-10943045839063441622019-11-14T13:26:31.444-06:002019-11-14T13:26:31.444-06:00I'm pretty sure this was the first movie I saw...I'm pretty sure this was the first movie I saw a bare naked lady in, and predictably she was Jenny Agutter, who had a habit of taking those roles. She even takes her bloomers off in The Railway Children.

Anyway, Logan's Run looked ridiculous in 1976, so imagine how it looks now. But I find it strangely compelling, maybe it's the nostalgia talking, it is more enjoyable than Damnation Alley, the other sci-fi epic that's often cited as how out of touch Hollywood science fiction was just pre-Star Wars. At least the future has black people in it in Damnation Alley, mind you!THX 1139https://www.blogger.com/profile/07574901864533202054noreply@blogger.com
