For me it still comes the closest to capturing a bit of what life what actually like for teens of that generation in Ontario. The sixties were still there but more of a failed dream kind of 60s. The clothes, the stupid stuff the guys get up to, the disappointments, the effed up sex, all very realistic -- no simple teen romance here. All told, for all its weaknesses, this film told OUR story, one we as Canadians and we who grew up in that era, rarely see.
